Jasmin Singer
The co-founder of animal rights organization Our Hen House, Jasmin Singer will discuss her history beginning as an AIDS-awareness activist and finding her way to animal activism from there, her interest and journey in blending her freelance writing with animal issues, and how she also used her writing in gay publications to speak up for animals; how she went from a volunteer for Farm Sanctuary to staff to eventually become the campaigns manager; how she became involved as a contributing writer for VegNews Magazine; and how she ultimately left Farm Sanctuary in order to co-found Our Hen House.
