Rainforest Action Network uses marketplace campaigns to target the biggest players in the industries that do the most harm to the environment and to social justice concerns. Some of our current campaigns work to put an end to mountaintop removal coal mining (where they blow the tops off the mountains) and rainforest destruction for palm oil. Nonviolent Direct Action is one of many tactics we use to get corporations to the negotiating table and generate industry-wide change.
