Presenters: Enoch, Hankins, Lawson, Ornelas

Greg Lawson
Vegetarian Society of El Paso, www.VSEP.org

Greg Lawson, a National Park Service Ranger and animal advocate, will focus our attention on the victories and set-backs of our movement in the past year as it pertains to wildlife. Some of the issues he will address include the annual slaughter of the bison of Yellowstone National Park, the de-listing from the Endangered Species Act of the wolf, the battles to list other species such as the polar bear and Wildlife Services, the federal agency that kills wild animals as a service to cattle ranchers. He will describe what he thinks are some of the most effective ways to protect wildlife.
